Reviews of GET USED TO IT!

GET USED TO IT, Tom's second show to be produced Off-Broadway appeared at the Courtyard Playhouse, now known as the Grove Street Theatre, in Greenwich Village. The show, produced by The Glines, which had previously produced "Torch Song Trilogy" and other Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, featured a talented cast of singer/actors. Available on CD and cassette, this recording is the composer's proudest accomplishment. The studio conditions, vocal performances and musical direction were all excellent.

Whereas TEN PERCENT REVUE has had many more productions, reviewers generally acknowledge that the material in GET USED TO IT is more substantial both in its humorous/satirical moments (sodomy laws, the religious right, closeted celebrities) and it's treatment of serious subject matter (gay bashing, AIDS).

GET USED TO IT has been produced successfully with all-male casts and male-female casts. Licensing can be arranged through Broadway Play Publishing Company.

GET USED TO IT! is available on CD and cassette.
